Last Blog for Human Geo

       Today was the last for Human Geo class and I wasn’t there. So even though I wasn’t there I thought this year was fun and I had good times in that class and made new memories. I hope my teacher had fun teaching my class more things. I will miss his jokes in class, even though some of them weren’t funny. My favorite class this year was when he let us watch a video at the half of class. My favorite video was a really weird one because it was cows and then changed into weird forms in different animals. It was a weird video but it made me laugh so it was ok. He also tripped in class and almost fell and I felt bad because I was the only one who laughed really hard. The one thing I won’t miss is the tests but it’s because I just don’t like taking test. Overall this year was great and I’m so happy I got him as a teacher.

Chilling in Class

     Today is our second to last class and it was the best. Our class got to work on anything at class or just chill, but we had to be silent. I was on YouTube listen to music and watching people play drums, since I didn't have anything to work on. I even got to work on this blog in class which was awesome because now I have less homework for tonight. I'm kind of sad that this class is ending because I had a good time even though our class wasn't the best. The teacher was very funny and nice. He even let us use our blogs for test or give us extra credit. It's going to be weird for me coming in the room because I'll have this room for a different class with a different teacher instead of my human geo teacher. I loved this class and I'm sad it's ending but I'm happy at the same time.

Test Today

        Today in class I took the last test for human geo because the semester is ending. It was pretty easy and a little hard. I think I did well and passed it. I also have ten extra credit points because I made a little rap with my friend so hopefully that helped my grade some. I wasn’t sure for some of the question but I just went for the most that will make sense or sound like it made sense. I’m happy the test is over because it was worrying me. I’m not a good test taker I’m better at doing the work and understanding it in class. I was also worried that my grade will go down instead of up and I need it to go up. Hopefully my study paid off today. After I took the test I was actually typing this blog so I’m doing it now instead of tonight. Overall todays class was calm and nice.

A Friday Class

      Today in class was so relaxing and kind of funny. People were making raps about 2015 and sending them on a website for 10 extra credit points. My friend and I made one in class and said in class. It was very interesting and kind of funny. My other friend took a video which I didn’t really like but she didn’t care and people were playing Justin Bieber music. I thought todays class was kind of weird and I liked not learning much since its Friday and that it was my last class of the day. Even though it was my last class it went very slow. It felt like I was there for an hour and a half but at least I had fun and had some laughs. I also made my teacher laugh when I raped with my friend so that a plus. That made my day and put a smile on my face

The Future and Grinnell Glacier

  

  Today in class we learned more about our future and about Grinnell Glacier. Grinnell Glacier is at the Glacier National Park in Montana. The altitude average is around 7,000 feet. The glacier has obviously retreated substantially if you even seen pictures in different years. Between 1966 and 2005, it lost almost 40% of its acreage. Our teacher was talking about how this is a big deal because the water has to go somewhere and that somewhere is the ocean. If the ice and Glaciers keep melting very quickly in the years then the ice will melt into the oceans and then the oceans will get higher. If that happens then the borders will have big problems and the people who live there will too. Scientist say that all the glaciers in the park including Grinnell will disappear by the year 2030. This is not just the sun fault but it’s our fault too. We are making the greenhouse effect happen too much and that’s why the glaciers are melting faster. My teacher was talking about ways to help but why nobody is doing anything about it. He said that there are electric cars and that if more and more people use them then it would help. The thing is that one they are so expensive and two that the oil and car companies don’t won’t us to change to those cars. If we did, then they will go out of business and we would have to have new places to charge our cars. Another problem is that it is harder to find places to charge your electric cars because most of the world uses gas. Over all in class I learned so much today and thought harder about our future.

Environment Geology

   

    Today we watched two videos about Environment Geology. The first video was only three minutes but the teacher made it last for half of the class I was amazed. The video was talked about global warming and climate changes. I learned that 1.2 to 1.4 degrees of earths temp rises and that global warming might be cause by us. We use many fossil fuels everyday like coal, gases, and oil which pollutes the air, which is very bad for our environment and earth. The video also talked about the greenhouse effect which they all give off carbon dioxide and that lets the green effect happen. The last thing in the video was that in thirty years the Artic sea ice has degrees by ten percent and the thing is that the ice wont won’t freeze again because of the weather that has been going on.

       The second video kind of talked about the same thing but was more recent and explained more. It talked about what is in fossil fuel and how much. Fossil fuel contains Carbon dioxide 82%, Methane 10%, Nitrous Oxide 5%, and lastly Fluorinated Gases 3%. The video also talked about weather of the earth. I found out that ten of the last 16 years has been the hottest years and that for every year for the last seven years 4 billion tons of ice melted. This is so much of ice that has melted and causes many floods and the ocean has risen six inches too. I learned so much today in class and I hope I learn more awesome things tomorrow.

First Day Back After the Break

            Today was the first class for the new year. It was a nice class to start off the new year we talked about our exams and extra credited. I was happy with my grade for the essay part because I worked so hard on that. I took so long to type it up because I was overthinking about it but overall It turned out great. I thought I could have done a little better at the exam but there is extra credit I can do if I want to make my grade higher. The extra credit is to make a rap about 2015 politics and we can have a partner to help out. I might be doing this with my friend or I can go to a convention at my school and prove it somehow. Near the end of the class we didn’t do much we could talk to our friend’s witch was nice because it’s the first day back from break. Overall todays class was a great one and I can’t wait for tomorrow.
