Learning about the Ancient Greece
In class today we were learning about the Ancient Greece. I have learned many things and surprising things. One of the things I have learned today was a word called agora. Agora is a public space used for assemblies or markets back in the very old days. A surprising thing I have learned is when they called someone an idiot it meant something totally different from the meaning we use today. It meant someone wasn't voting and that person was publicly labeled an idiot. This was when the inventors of democracy made a law that required every person to vote. Another thing I thought was interesting
was that the word polis means that it is an a city state in Ancient Greece, especially as considered in it's ideal form for philosophical purpose. Over all I thought that learning more about the Ancient Greece is pretty awesome because I got to learn about the history of the world and I can't wait to learn more in class.
