A Message to Garcia
Today in class I read a little story called A Message to Garcia, By: Elbert Hubbard in 1899. While I was reading I came across some words that I wasn't familiar with here are some of the words. One of the words is perihelion and I found out that means at a specific time in the orbit in which a planet or comet at its nearest point to the sun. Another word was imbecility and the meaning of that is stupidity or at a point of being weak. Later in the story I came across a word that is memorandum and I had no idea what it means until later and that word means a reminder or a little note that reminds you of something whether it's a small reminder or a big reminder. When I finally understood what these words meant I re-read the story and understood more and I wasn't that confused anymore. Over all I found out it's cool to look up words you don't know so you can expand your vocabulary.

Wait... you looked up the unfamiliar words - then read the essay AGAIN?!? That is fantastic! Seriously, I find that very encouraging. Keep it up!
